Former Chairman of HFH Indonesia Received Asia-Pacific 2008 Nehemiah Awards

Jakarta, 11th September 2008: Jusuf Arbianto, a former Chairman of HFH Indonesia is awarded the 2008 Nehemiah Awards from Habitat for Humanity. During the special dinner on “Asia Pacific Larger Program Consultation” in Pattaya-Thailand, six individuals from Habitat Asia Pacific countries were recognized for their outstanding volunteer efforts – selected from a total of 22 nominees representing 13 country programs. The award includes a $10,000 donation to the national program which the winners represent.

Jusuf Arbianto won among the other five winners because he was instrumental in raising Habitat profile and ensuring the organization had the right foundations to grow and prosper. When he goes about networking, he is known for tapping his vast network of business contacts to further Habitat for Humanity Indonesia’s program.

The Nehemiah Awards 2008 is awarded for distinguished volunteer service to those who have shown exceptional service to the mission of Habitat for Humanity in either a local affiliate or other Habitat setting.
