“Community Card” Leaps the First 100 Million Rupiah
After the launch of “Community Card” on 28 March 2008- a joint effort between Krispy Kreme Indonesia and HFH Indonesia-, the Community Card have been sold for more than 2,000 cards within three months release or achieved the first One Hundred Million Rupiah (or around 11,100 USD). To mark the achievement and celebrate Krispy Kreme Indonesia’s 2nd anniversary, Krispy Kreme Indonesia deployed volunteer team to build houses in Sukakarya, North Bekasi on 11 August 2008. Bearing the motto of the Community Card “Share Doughnuts, Build Houses”, the team consists of seventeen staffs contributed their sweat and energy by building two houses together with some printed media personnel.
The Community Card is offered to everyone for Rp 50.000,- and all proceed will be donated to HFH Indonesia to build simple and decent houses. The card is available in all Krispy Kreme outlets in Jakarta and HFH Indonesia office. Community Card Holders have a privilege of having twelve doughnuts for the price of six, with maximum of ten times purchase. The offer will be valid until April 2009.
