A strong supporter of Habitat for Humanity Indonesia Aceh Tsunami Disaster Response Project, Christian Aid has extended their initiatives to help 129 tsunami survivors in Aceh Barat and Nagan Raya District, Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam Province. HFH Indonesia receives IDR 11.3 billion grant (US$ 1,258,274). The grant will go toward providing more tsunami affected families who have not received any housing support from any other stake holders.

UK humanitarian agency Christian Aid to date has assisted HFH Indonesia to help 789 tsunami affected families. Christian Aid in external evaluator report also commended HFH Indonesia for staying focused on its specialization in housing and for its clear-cut targeting strategy in selecting beneficiaries.
