HFH Indonesia outstandingly won both categories that HFH Indonesia nominated: Yogyakarta Affiliate for The Joshua Award- innovation in leadership and Bambang Candra with PT Dow Chemical Indonesia for The Nehemiah Award-distinguished volunteer service. The Joshua award is awarded to the affiliate or National Organization or Habitat entity which has significantly demonstrated a high level of commitment to the development and support of the people that carry the Habitat ministry forward, resulting in a diverse, motivated, and high-performing leadership, board of directors and workforce whereas the Nehemiah award is awarded to the candidate who shown exceptional service to the mission of Habitat for Humanity in either a local affiliate or other habitat setting and the nominees have motivated and inspired both individuals and others to reach new heights of achievement.
The award amount is US$ 30,000 for both Joshua and Nehemiah Awards. The Awards recipients will have the opportunity to donate the prize money to be utilized in affiliate or Habitat project location.
