Aceh Disaster Response Wind Up Lesson Learnt Workshop

Meulaboh, 6 March 2007: Disaster Response Aceh team jointly gathered in Meulaboh to share variety of experiences, best practices, lesson learnt and ideas encountered during Aceh Tsunami Disaster Project. The workshop was led by Tina Kiehn, Project Advisor of Habitat for Humanity Asia Pacific Offices. The primary purpose of the workshop was to learn from the expertise of those who have been involved in Disaster Response Team and the feedback of the workshop will be focused on developing its Habitat disaster response capacity. The results and experiences have shown that team in place was committed to Habitat; to the communities we served, towards the goal of Habitat. It has shown the accountability, transparency to our friends of Habitat as well.
