Banda Aceh, January 2007: Habitat for Humanity Indonesia has received donated Timber by Timber for Aceh (TFA), initiative by WWF and Conservation International. To support and to show the success of using timber from sustainable sources, WWF, Muslim Aid, IFRC and Habitat for Humanity Indonesia conducted TFA Media Event on 8 January, 2007 in Banda Aceh. The event was held by handing over the donated houses using donated timber to the community and this event was located in Muslim Aid’s housing project, Lhok Nga, Aceh Besar.

Habitat received 100m3 of sawn timber donation by TFA and it was used at least for thirty family served in West Coast Centre which house construction is still progressing.
